Abstract

Background: The purpose of this activity is to provide learning to teachers so that they can carry out an effective and enjoyable learning process to increase student interest in learning. Method: This training is to start with the analysis stage by asking the teachers at SDN 239 Sarajoko problems regarding the online learning process through the zoom application with 13 teachers at SDN 239 Sarajoko and also carried out offline. then design and carry out Canva application training as a learning medium by presenting material after which there is a question and answer session and an evaluation stage of the training results to measure the progress of the results of the training to partners and the final stage of this training is the consultation stage which is carried out so that they continue to carry out communication relationships with partners and service teams. Results: The results of this dedication can be described in several stages, namely the 3 indicators that are the focus of the service team to be implemented in the program are the Canva application in making videos, power points, posters as learning materials. This Canva application training activity really helps teachers to improve their ability to provide modern and effective teaching methods that will make the learning process systematic and comfortable.

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PkM) aim to synergize the Tri Dharma of Higher Education with ITCI High School partners in North Penajam Paser Regency. PkM provides services in the form of In House Training (IHT) for teachers in compiling teaching modules of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (5-P) for Teachers. PkM assistance was carried out for 2 days for 16 hours. The IHT activity was preceded by an opening ceremony by the school principal and supervising supervisor from the East Kalimantan Kemdikbud regional office representing the south. The PkM target is all ITCI SMA teachers totaling 22 people. IHT agenda is in the form of presentation of the basic philosophical, theoretical, psychological and rational foundations of 21st century learning. The delivery of teaching module guidance material focuses on operational techniques for compiling project learning teaching modules (5-P), PkM activities are supported by collecting data using questionnaires about aspects knowledge, confidence in being able to carry out project based learning, overcome obstacles, and recognize changes in students' digitalization learning literacy. The results showed that the knowledge of teachers participating in IHT, 1) The teacher's understanding of the concept of PJBL achieved an average score of 92% 2) Confidence about the ability to implement PJBL obtained an average score of 89.5%. 3) recognizing obstacles in the implementation of PJBL obtained a score of 92% of 4) recognizing changes in students' digital literacy behavior obtained a score of 95.67%.

Abstract

Background: Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan berupa pendirian bank sampah sebagai strategi penanganan masalah sampah dengan basis masyarakat. Bank sampah adalah bentuk penanganan sampah dengan basis masyarakat dimana masyarakat memilah, mengumpulkan dan menukar sampah dengan sejumlah uang. Diharapkan dengan adanya bank sampah, timbunan sampah menjadi berkurang serta lingkungan sekitar menjadi lebih bersih, indah dan lestari. Selain itu dengan terbentuknya bank sampah ini diharapkan bisa menambah pemasukan bagi masyarakat sekitar. Metode: Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Banjarejo, Bojonegoro oleh tim dari Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri. Kegiatan ini diadakan dalam tiga bulan yakni bulan Desember 2021 hingga Februari 2022 dengan menggunakan metode Pendidikan masyarakat. Hasil: Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada masyarakat dapat menggantikan kultur masyarakat dalam hal pengelolaan sampah. Selain itu dengan kehadiran Bank Sampah “Lintang Alul” merupakan jalan keluar dalam mengatasi masalah sampah khususnya di kelurahan Banjarejo. Masyarakat kelurahan Banjarejo antusias dan mendukung dengan adanya Bank Sampah “Lintang Alul”. Pembentukan Bank Sampah “Lintang Alul” merupakan alternatif solusi dalam pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat yang menjadikan kelurahan Banjarejo bebas dari sampah.

Abstract

Background: Sikap guru terhadap rasa percaya diri merupakan komponen yang esensial karena rasa percaya diri sebagai guru matematika berhubungan secara signifikan dengan rasa percaya diri siswa sebagai pembelajar matematika. Namun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap percaya diri guru pemula dalam mengajar matematika adalah rendah. Sehingga melalui kegiatan pengabdian dengan berfokus pada MKT diharapkan dapat memberikan perubahan pada self-confidence guru pemula di sekolah dasar. Metode: Mitra pengabdian adalah SDN 015 Kota Tarakan dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 10 guru, yang secara keseluruhan merupakan guru kelas. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pendidikan masyarakat dan pelatihan dengan skema daring dan luring. Penyampaian materi dan pendampingan secara bergantian dilakukan secara daring dan luring. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian, ditemukan bahwa terjadi perubahan self-confidence guru dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hal ini diketahui setelah dilakukan analisis angket sikap percaya diri yang dilakukan sebelum dan setelah kegiatan. Guru dapat mendapatkan informasi yang tepat mengenai sikap self-confidence yang dapat memberikan efek kepada siswa dalam proses pembelajarannya. Perubahan self-confidence guru sekolah dasar terjadi setelah adanya kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan melalui MKT.

Abstract

Background: Pengelolaan keuangan menjadi suatu masalah dalam UMKM karena pemilik UMKM mengabaikan pentingnya pengelolaan laporan keuangan dalam UMKM. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah: 1) untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh pemahaman pelaku UMKM di Dusun Candi Umbul, Desa Kartoharjo,Kecamatan Grabag, Magelang terhadap pencatatan keuangan 2) untuk menambah strategi terbaru laporan keuangan pada pelaku UMKM. Metode: Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Dusun Candi Umbul, Desa Kartoharjo,Kecamatan Grabag, Magelang pada bulan Juni 2022. Sasaran pengabdian yang dipilih yaitu para pelaku UMKM pada Desa kartoharjo, Kecamatan Grabag, Magelang. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui obervasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil: Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa: 1) pelaku UMKM di Dusun Candi Umbul, Desa Kartoharjo,Kecamatan Grabag, Magelang telah memahami dan termotivasi untuk melakukan upaya mengelompokkan transaksi sesuai akun-akun yang ada di dalam laporan keuangan yang dilihat berdasarkan pencatatan keuangan yang dilakukan dalam usahanya sehingga dapat dikatakan mampu mencapai tingkat penafsiran tetapi belum mencapai tingkat ekstrapolasi karena pelaku UMKM di Dusun Candi Umbul, Desa Kartoharjo, Kecamatan Grabag, Magelang hanya melakukan pencatatan keuangan dalam bentuk yang sederhana. 2) strategi baru yang dapat digunakan oleh pelaku UMKM dalam mencatat laporan keuangan. Strategi baru dalam pegelolaan keuangan yang dapat digunakan oleh pelaku UMKM dalam mencatat laporan keuangan adalah dengan bantuan layanan software atau pembukuan  Konvensional.

Abstract

Background: Media fun thinkers dianggap mampu memecahkan masalah dalam belajar karena sebagai alat bantu atau media dalam proses pembelajaran yang tidak hanya dapat memperlancar proses komunikasi akan tetapi dapat merangsang anak untuk merespons dengan baik segala pesan yang disampaikan. Untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media fun thinkers  bagi anak-anak di TPA Nurul Yaqin, dan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlibatan peserta yaitu anak-anak dalam pelatihan penggunaan media fun thinkers  di TPA Nurul Yaqin. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam 4 tahap yaitu (1) tahap persiapan; (2) tahap pelaksanaan; (3) tahap pendampingan dan (4) tahap pelaporan. Pengabdian ini menggunakan lembar observasi yang terdiri dari 8 aspek untuk menilai penggunaan media fun thinkers dan keterlibatan anak-anak. Hasil: Hasil pengabdian ini adalah siswa aktif dalam belajar dan paham dalam materi matematika. Hal tersebut ditunjukan oleh nilai rata-rata pemahaman anak-anak berada dalam  nilai 89% sedangkan nilai kemandirian belajar berada pada nilai 87%, dan Tingkat kerja sama antar antar-anak adalah 96%. Penggunaan media fun thinkers  dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika, hal tersebut terlihat dari hasil pengamatan bahwa semua aspek yang diamati ada pada kriteria “sangat baik”.

Abstract

Background: Strengthening the digitization of learning in the Kegiatan Kemandirian Masyarakat (KKM) program was carried out for teachers and students at SMKS Imelda Medan. Activities with teachers, namely training in the field of design principles as well as competency test assessments by supporting partners of the digital technology Professional Certification Institute (LSP), while student activities are carried out training in making simulations based on power simulation software. Implementation activities aim to train 4C competencies. The 4C competencies are creative thinking skills, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration for teachers and students. Methods: The implementation method is carried out by training and direct assistance to SMKS Imelda partners as well as teacher competency tests in the computer laboratory, covering the areas of training in the principles of design and communication. The indicators measure measurable activities by interviewing and distributing questionnaires to training participants, as well as inviting participants to BNSP to obtain competency certification in the design field. Results: 20 teachers obtained good results in training and have been proposed to obtain expertise certification, while for students, the software used has been assessed as practical by SMK students at 0.837 points in the good category. From the results of the activity, it can be interpreted that design assistance training for teachers and simulations for students have an impact on the implementation of critical thinking skills in realizing the ability of teachers and students to make designs and simulations with the help of software, as indicated by the results of the KKM program.

Abstract

GeoGebra provides a means for teachers to innovate in learning mathematics. One of the innovations teachers can create is the Electronic Student Worksheet (e-LKS). The purpose of assisting teachers in making e-LKS assisted by GeoGebra, is to improve students' understanding of mathematics through training with an educative approach. The participants in the service activity were 11 teachers at the Sudirman Susukan Islamic Middle School, Semarang Regency. The stages of this activity include: obtaining permits, determining the place and date of implementation, preparing materials, conducting training, and evaluating. Data collection in this activity includes observation and questionnaires. The results of the activity were a positive response from the teachers regarding the material, resource persons, the atmosphere of the training, and the impact it had. Follow-up activities are highly expected from teachers. In conclusion, making GeoGebra-based e-LKS is needed for teachers.

Abstract

Background: So far, English teachers' design of English learning assignments is routine in nature so they cannot help optimize students' English skills. This community service program is implemented to help increase the professionalism of English teachers who are currently pursuing a master's program in English education from various schools in East Java using RAIS principles. Methods: Through the FGD method, mentoring, and workshops on compiling English assignments were carried out for one semester which 48 English teachers from various schools attended. Results: The results obtained are the understanding of the RAIS concept and the production of various RAIS-based English learning task models that have been implemented in various schools in East Java. Given the significance of assignments in learning, there is a constant need to improve teacher proficiency in assignment design.

Abstract

Background: The active learning of students at SMAN 6 Balikpapan is still relatively low and needs to be improved. The purpose of this activity is to introduce the snowball throwing learning model to SMAN 6 Balikpapan teachers and its implementation in learning. Method: This socialization activity was carried out through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This socialization activity was attended by 20 teachers at SMAN 6 Balikpapan. After the presentation of the socialization material, a trial was carried out on 33 students in class XII IPA 5 in the Indonesian language subject. The instrument used in this trial was the student learning activity observation sheet. Results: The implementation results show that the application of the snowball throwing learning model is effective in increasing the learning activity of class XII IPA 5 SMA Negeri 6 Balikpapan in the subject of Indonesian novel material by 17.67%. So it can be said that the Snowball Throwing learning model can increase student learning activity in Indonesian subjects.
